خليتني ادقدق في قشّي ادقّه والقش مندّي
والله يا ضيف الرحمن فصك فص المتغدّي
الفردة طارت من فصك في الجو وعيّت لتهدّي

You made me sift through my chaff I beat it yet the straw stays wet
By God o guest of the Merciful your stomp is the stomp of the one who ate lunch
The shoe flew in the air from your stomp and stayed hanging
